On IMEI tracking
Stock identification — not real-time device tracking.
The IMEI feature ties each individual device to inventory: when it’s received, where it’s stored, when it’s sold, and what the warranty trail looks like. It does not track the real-time location of a device once it leaves the store. Built for stock accuracy and warranty lookup, nothing else.
Workflows
Three roles, three clear flows.
-
Cashier
Open register → process POS sales → handle returns → close shift.
-
Inventory Manager
Manage products → record purchases → approve transfers → run stock audits.
-
Admin
All of the above → view reports → manage users → configure branches.

The pitch in one line
No screenshots here — live walkthrough on request.
The good and the bad of any POS is in the friction at the counter and the reconciliation at the end of the day. We’d rather show you that live on a real instance than dress up a screenshot.
FAQ
Common questions for this build.
-
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is the unique number on every mobile device. Gator POS tracks each device individually from purchase to sale — useful for stock accuracy, warranty lookups, and preventing internal stock loss.
-
Yes. IMEI tracking is optional per product. The system works for clothing, groceries, hardware, anything — IMEI items and regular items live side by side.
-
Unlimited. Each branch has its own stock levels, registers, and users. Inter-branch transfers go through an approval workflow.
-
Yes. Sales queue locally when connectivity drops, sync when it returns. Critical for shops with patchy internet.
-
Role-based permissions control visibility. Cashiers see their register, managers see their branch, admins see everything.
-
Setup and configuration in a day. Inventory import depends on size. Staff training is half a day.
